- This test will assess your phonics
skills and reading comprehension level.
The test is applicable for grades 2 through 10 reading levels. Others may find it interesting to complete the assessment, but the accuracy of the results
has not been validated beyond tenth grade.

The test consists of two parts:

- Phonics
- Reading Coach Jim Larrabee will say
words or syllables aloud. Choose what he said from a list.

- Comprehension
- As you read stories, insert the
missing words from a list of possible choices. Select words in context with the entire story.

- The test typically requires
15 to 60 minutes, depending on the test taker's skills. Each
section of the test will automatically stop when it begins to
exceed the test taker's ability level. The time
you require to finish the test is recorded, but it is not used in
determining your performance level.

- You can complete the
assessment in one or multiple sessions. Stop at any time by
clicking Home. We will e-mail instructions to you for resuming the
test at the point where you left off. After you complete the test, we will e-mail instructions for viewing your
results online.
